OPCA 2018 is generously funded through the Lorne Thyssen Research Fund for Ancient World Topics at Wolfson College, the Wolfson College Academic Committee, and the British Institute for the Study of Iraq (BISI).
Registration for OPCA is now open on the Oxford Online Store. Link
The committee is delighted to announce that Dr. Jonathan Taylor (The British Museum, Assistant Keeper, Cuneiform collections, Mesopotamia) will be delivering a senior talk at the conference.
We will be offering travel and accommodation bursaries for three participants on a competitive basis. Bursaries will reimburse candidates up to a certain amount for expenses of travel and accommodation. The selection of candidates will be made by an independent committee. In 2018, we are delighted to count with the help of Prof. Paul Delnero (Johns Hopkins), Prof. Dr. Dr. Matthieu Ossendrijver (Humboldt Universität), and Dr. Magnus Widell (Liverpool University) to award the bursaries.
